Lisette England

Lisette England MSc, MCIArb, PgDip

Lisette has over twenty years of experience of construction disputes and has prepared and analyzed claims and expert reports in relation to a diverse range of projects including nuclear, SAGD, cogeneration, hydroelectric and waste to energy plants, military facilities, airport infrastructure, industrial facilities, hospitals, process plant, rail, utilities, tunneling, bridges, civil works and commercial buildings.  She has consulted on projects on several continents and in various jurisdictions.

For the past 10 years, Lise has focused increasingly on the management of risk emanating from contracts and project delivery strategies. Lise earned her BSc (Hons) from Kingston University in England. She has a PgDip in Construction Law and Arbitration from King’s College, London University.

Lise’s qualifications also include Part II A and B Membership Examinations Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, UK. She has an abundance of experience in connection with partnering and alliancing and while working on a significant infrastructure expansion project in London, UK, developed incentive schemes for prime constructors and control mechanisms relating to cost and quality.

Martin Gough

Martin Gough P.Eng.

Martin has over forty years of diverse project experience including structural design for nuclear power; contract review, project performance oversight and contract dispute resolution; project management of oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure development and industrial projects; construction management of industrial and commercial projects; cost engineering for oil and gas development; and oil and gas and infrastructure development. He is currently engaged in project oversight and risk evaluation and management for utility, petrochemical, oil and gas, transportation and infrastructure development.

Martin’s consulting expertise includes the planning of projects ranging from bitumen recovery plants to sustainable building design. He has been involved in the evaluation and analysis of numerous construction claims for clients in the utilities, petrochemical, industrial and commercial sectors. Martin has taught project management for the University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and for the University of Alberta Energy Sector MBA and Executive Education programs.
